How to protect your Clan from raids!

Has your clan server ever been raided? Well, this post will help you setup bots to help prevent that!

Join raids are when people mass join your clan server to attempt to spam, harass and sometimes mass DM. Luckily, there are bots that can stop this and keep your server running smoothly! Here are some bots we recommend:

Beemo

Beemo is an anti-raid bot, used in nearly 75,000 servers and has stopped over 186,000 raids!

Beemo looks at the account age of new users, so this won't protect most clan raids, but it is a good bot to leave monitoring your server!

Once you add Beemo, use the command /antispam log set to set the logging channel, where logs will be sent when a raid occurs. Also, make sure the bot is higher than your member role - this means the bot can ban raiders.

Vortex

NOTE: Vortex has server requirements - see them below:

Vortex is more likely to suit your clan server - it supports customisable anti-raid settings, allowing you to set what is detected as a raid and what is not, which will allow regular users to join but auto-kick bad actors.

When you add Vortex, run the command >>autoraidmode joins/second to set the raid limit. This is the amount of users that can join per amount of seconds before the bot detects the raid. Need to manually enable anti raid mode? Use >>raidmode on <reason> - this will auto kick new users until a certain amount of time has passed. Just like Beemo, make sure the bot is higher than your member role.

Security Bot

Security bot is similar to both Vortex and Beemo, but has more security features that could work for your clan! These features are: anti nuke, anti raid, auto moderation, verification captcha, custom permissions, warning/punishment logs and more.

When you add Security Bot, you should visit the dashboard. Find your clan's server, and click "Anti-raid" - you should now make sure it is enabled and click "Save".

You should now configure the Anti-raid mode. You can set how many joins in a set amount of minutes before locking chat and preventing new joins.

Security Bot also features anti-nuke features - a needed feature in many clans. You can set the amount of kicks, bans, role/channel creations and deletions before the bot punishes them. See below for an example:
