What's New in Combat Warriors?

It's finally time - a new Combat Warriors update! The developers have been hard at work creating brand new content to keep the gameplay loop of CW refreshed, all while introducing new core mechanics to enhance the gameplay and change it up a notch, this blog post will keep you up-to-date on everything that's arriving with the new update on December 24th!

What's new?

We got a ton of new content, such as an introduction to skills on weapons and boss fights, a brand new battle pass, new maps, and much more with this update! We know that everyone has been very excited waiting on this ambitious update that continues to expand on top of what the game currently offers.
Let's dive in and see what's new!

Skillsets

Both Heavy and Light weapons now have new skillsets to tailor and change the way you fight your opponents in the battlefield, rack up damage as you'll charge these skills, allowing you to have the upper-hand in the frantic combat that you know!

Utilities

An arsenal of new utilities have been added as well to continue to tailor to your style of play! Blind your enemies with flashbangs, or perhaps slow them down further or even set up more traps to get the jump on your enemies!

Battle Pass

Want a way to earn rewards passively just by playing the game? Introducing the Battle Pass! With time, anyone can earn TONS of content such as aether, credits, and exclusive cosmetics! This will help people fly through weapon unlocking to the new melees and make grinding a lot more entertaining! The brand-new battle pass will enable players to gain more rewards and incentives while investing time into the game.

Boss Fights

With these new features comes a new enemy to fight, introducing Combat Warrior's first boss, Cat Boss that comes with it's very own unique game mode where all players within a server must combine forces in order to ensure it's defeat. The boss itself comes with a variety of attacks and abilities so be on your guard as victory won't come easy. Upon slaying it players will be rewarded with various cosmetics that can be equipped within the bundles section of the customization tab.

New Maps

Brand new locations are flying into this new update, as we're proud to introduce Isola Serena, Sinners Graveyard, and Cat Temple (working title) to the map pool. We hope you enjoy these new maps, or you can enjoy existing maps such as Crossroads, which has been given a Holiday theme as the Holidays have arrived!

New Cosmetics

Rounding out this new update, a whole slew of cosmetics are also arriving! Check out the new Cat Beast, Knight, and Water Princess armor that we got above as a preview, as well as some brand new Parry Shields, Character Auras, Kill Effects, and a ton more! Oh, and of course we're not gonna forget those precious emotes that you use to taunt your opponents!

New Disaster

A new disaster joins the fray within the new update, introducing the Blackhole disaster that's sure to shake things up, for R$699 (working price) players will be able to summon a blackhole within the map that will eviscerate all players within the map by pulling them into it's center of gravity and effectively disintegrating them, what fun!

New Icons

Emotes not exactly your style? Try out the new icons, a sticker like system that displays small images when a player presses the emote key and selects them, now you can truly be as silly, goofy, or just downright ridiculous as you please!

Special Items

WATCH OUT! There's trouble anywhere now.. Anyone has the power to summon a special weapon from anywhere at any time. Tired of waiting for an airdrop to spawn in for an RPG? Not anymore, you can just summon one at your own will at a low price of 199 robux and not wait for an airdrop to spawn anymore for an RPG. Now you can obtain your own Tommy Gun for the price of 199 robux! Hop in this Christmas 2022 update to summon your own special item of your choice. GO GO GO!

The Discord server has also grown from 16,000 members in February to over 525,000 members in December.
